Marital Rape

I came across this today, and subhanAllah my heart cried out.

I’ve worked with women who were in these situations or have come through situations such as these, it heart wrenching.
May Allah protect all muslimeen from oppression and may He instill in us the correct a’adab and akhlaq of Islam. Ameen

Heart of Coal

 

 

A soul so black with sin
Hurting only its self sin after sin
Yet one day it sees the light
and prays to make it right.

 

Tears spring forth out of regret
Wishing the sins it could forget
But with those memories it must live
Praying that the sins its Lord will forgive

 

The heart having gone through so much pain
Knowing now it was for no gain
Not in this world or the next
Each moment now leading to the deepest of regrets.

 

Each day to its Lord it grieves
Repenting so that salvation it may receive
Slowly the heart is lead
So with forgivness it can truly be cleansed.
