Fishy Success

Alhamdulillah the fish turned out great :)

A bit of time with foil cover in the oven, then about 20 mins on a lower to temp to get the crisp.

Also made some flapjacks, this is one easy but great recipe:
250g Oats (make sure they arn’t rolled)
150g Butter/ Margarine
75g Sugar (soft brown is the better choice)
2 tbsp Golden Syrup (The more chewier you want add more)

  1. Melt the butter, sugar and syrup on the cooke (Make sure it does not boil!)
  2. Mix in oats
  3. Put in deep baking tray (big enough to keep a bit thick, look at pic below)
  4. Place in oven for 15-20 mins 170 for gas ovens and 150 for electric.
  5. Bake until golden brown.
  6. Remove, carefully cut, so it doesn’t break
  7. Let cool fully before removing from tray.
  8. If you want you can chocolate coat.

and you get:

Apart from that, back to teaching tommorrow, Alhumdulillah.

:) Masha’Allah….mouth watering recipes, with those images…u seem to be expert, with culinary skills…after all, the art of cooking requires primely ‘concentration’ and ‘usage’ of right ingredients, in a timely way for having true taste. i guess…u know more!!!
