My Oppressor!
Posted under dumb people, hijab, niqab, oppressed by Radiant LightDear Mr Who Has A Problem With Me;
It’s funny isn’t it how when you see me, or should I say the lack of me, that you seem to find the necessity to always comment.
You seem to think i’m oppressed yet the only oppression I suffer is from you.
You presume my man and my religion enforce this cloth on me, you presume covering up is a form of oppressing me. Yet you never care to ask, so that you may know the truth.
Instead you prefer to stand and insult, though your words to me are like that of a dog, which barks continuously and is easily ignored.
It is your prejudice and discrimination that oppresses me not this cloth that I choose to wear.
Let me give you a few choice examples of your oppression.
Remember that time you chose to stop me at the store and enforce your unwanted opinion on me, that were you able, you would make “the likes of me” illegal.
Remember how you backed away so easily when I warned you, if you say a word more, I would report you for verbal abuse?
So now think, verbal abuse is a crime, and the victims of crime are oppressed, so what does that make you?
Now you see, how you’re the oppressor and not this religion I choose to follow of my own free will?!
Or maybe you remember the time, when you stopped me at the give way, to once again subject me to your unwanted opinion.
At that time you once again, chose to say my attire should be banned and called me a phantom. (If I remember correctly you thought the car was driving its self).
So now you tell me, look at you and look at me.
You seem to think I’m oppressed, yet the only person oppressing me is you!
I stand by and wait for the day, that you shed your cloth of backwardness and ignorance, ‘cos if you look hard enough you can easily see, the only oppressed person here is you!
You have the problem with what I wear, not me. You’re the one who needs to resort to profanity every-time you see me.
You’re the one who thinks I’m oppressed not me.
So now its clear to see, the problem lies with you and not me, you’re own thoughts and assumptions are oppressing you, yet you choose to blame it all on me.
Kind Regards
Niqabi Hijabi
May Allah
give U sabar,Izzat of a woman when she is in complete Pardah(Hijab). The Fruit of Sabar is Victory.Solution of all problem is complete obedience in Allah
’s Deen.
The Student in the Mosque
be upon him) related that a great deal of fighting and bloodshed had started prior to the Indo-Pakistan partition of 1947. He said that a very beautiful daughter of a very rich man in a certain community stepped out of her house to visit her aunt, who lived no more than a few streets away. Suddenly a riot erupted as she had gone halfway and she found herself trapped with apparently nowhere to go. She saw a mosque nearby and quickly went inside, sitting in the women’s section. The rioting continued late into the night and this girl did not know what to do.
and so politely asked her to leave, saying that if she was found there then both would be dishonored and thrown out. She pleaded with him because of the extreme danger outside and so he agreed that she could spend the night, and sat down to study at the opposite end of the masjid.
Qari Muhammad Qayyam (may the mercy of Allah
The custodian of the masjid was a very young student there and late at night when he walked through the masjid before locking up he noticed this beautiful young lady. He was a respectful young man who feared Allah
The girl was unable to sleep with the events of the day in her mind and so watched the young man sitting studying by candle light at the opposite end of the masjid. She kept watching him and was very surprised at something she saw. From time to time this young man would extend his hand and keep it over the open flame, only withdrawing it when the flame obviously became unbearable. He then would resume his studies and continued this throughout the night until the dawn broke.
The young man called the adhan and asked the girl to leave before the congregation started coming to pray since now everything was calm outside. She agreed on the condition that he tell her why he was placing his hand on the candle flame throughout the night. The young man said that that was his own business and so the girl refused to leave until he told her what she wanted to know. The young man gave in and said, “I am at the age of youth and strong desire. We were alone and my desire was increasing, and although I was studying the Devil (Shaitan) would occasionally put temptation in my heart. Hence whenever I would feel any temptation I would put my hand on the flame and my fingers would burn. I would say to myself that this flame is nothing compared to the fire of Hell.”
The girl left the masjid and reached home, calming her parents’ fears as to what had happened to her. She also confided in her mother that she wanted to marry the custodian of the mosque near their house. She related the night’s events to her parents and said that only such a man with true fear of Allah
in his heart can be true to his wife. Only such a man who truly fears Allah
can fulfill a wife’s rights properly.
Hence the poor custodian of the mosque earned the daughter of a rich household in marriage. He received this honor not because of his looks but because of his character. Everything disintegrates and turns to dust but character remains strong. Honor is not bestowed because of handsome clothes or beautiful jewelry but because of what is in the heart. Knowledge is only beneficial when it is captured within the heart, and not merely written in books.
Truth can be understood, when misconceptions are thoroughly exposed, with its crookedness.
Your logical rebuttal, with boldness, is appreciative!

After reading the story of young custodian (of mosque), one can recall the story of Prophet Moses (AS) who after reaching Midian, waters the sheep for the two young women, near the spring.
One of the women suggested to her father that he employ Prophet Moses (AS), as he was strong and trustworthy. They needed someone like him, especially at the water hole, which was visited by ruffians.
The father asked her how she could be sure of his trustworthiness in such a short time. She replied: “When I bade him to follow me to our home, he insisted that I walk behind him so he would not observe my form (to avoid sexual attraction).”
The old man was pleased to hear this. He approached Prophet Moses (AS) and said: “I wish to marry you one of these two daughters on condition that you agree to work for me for a period of eight years.”
