Tajweed

Assalamualaykum

Some-time back in order to ensure that I don’t miss any of the tajweed rules whilst reciting, I invested in a colour coded tajweed Quran

And since have been reciting in it, on a recent trip to London, I didn’t have it with me so had to use the normal mas’haf, SubhanAllah I was amazed to realise that my tajweed using a normal mas’haf had improved considerably. I guess unconciously you just end up knowing the rules, because you’re so used to practising them.

Anyway, I recommend this Quran to all.

I orignally wanted to use it for teaching the kids tajweed, but people said they end up depending on it. From personal exeperience I disagree now, with the colour coded you’re made more aware of the rules, and after it just flows naturally.
